Thanksgiving Dog Treats!

Thanksgiving. It's right around the corner. The day where turkey, cranberry sauce and food rules. Our dogs need to eat along with us, so let's make turkey treats for dogs! Before you begin, please take a moment to pin this to your Pinterest so someone else can make their dog's day.

Dough in Ice Cream Scoop with green block of text

To make Turkey Treats, you will need:

  • Mini ice cream scoop or dog treat press,
  • Peeler,
  • Potato masher,
  •  Spoon
  • Knife
  •  Oven
  • About 2 cups flour,
  • 1 potato,
  •  1/3 cup chicken broth,
  •  1/4 cup shredded carrots,
  •  1/2 cup peas
  • 1/4 cup turkey (Never ever ever give your dog the skin of the turkey! Just the white part!)
First, preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Then, prepare veggies.
Next, boil a potato. Then, put the boiled potato in a separate
bowl with peas. Now, mash peas and potato. Now, put 2 cups
flour, 1/3 cup chicken broth, 1/4 cup shredded carrots, and pea
-potato mix in a bowl. Chop the turkey and put it in.  The dough will be very sticky. Last, use your mini
ice cream scoop and plop balls of dough onto a pan covered
in parchment paper and place in the oven for about 20
minutes. Yum!
