Masks and Animals

Hey, VetKidz! This year, we've been wearing masks from the beginning. Sure, they protect us from getting sick, but now, they're causing a big problem. To find out this big problem, read on, but please take a moment to pin this to your Pinterest.

A mask takes 450 years to decompose. 450 years! You and I won't be alive in 450 years. Well, in 2020, we've seen a new kind of litter, and animals are not too happy about it. Neither am I. They're called masks. And people have been flinging them in the streets, in the ocean, on the sidewalks. And this is not good news for us. When COVID-19 began in the US, and we were stuck in place, litter went down. Now, as restrictions are eased, the litter count is going up again, and it can kill all the animals, all the trees and plants. It's time to do something about this. It's unacceptable!

  1. Clean it up. Now, I don't expect you to go around touching potentially infected masks you find on the street. Get in your hazmat suit-er, mask, and gloves, and get a claw... (Yeah, sounds weird, but I'm serious about the claw!)
  2. If you can't do that, spread awareness. Tell everyone you know. Then tell them to pass it on to everyone they know. Make posters and give them to your family. If you're a subscriber, keep a close eye on the VetKidz library. Posters will be there soon. 😀
Seriously, DO SOMETHING!!! Anything you can do BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!!! Please. 🥺🥺🥺
The animals need you. Every one of you reading can make a difference, whether you're 1 year old or 101 years old.

If you subscribe to VetKidz, your beloved dog can write a letter to Santa Paws AND SO MUCH MORE!!! There are Halloween costume templates, and dog treat recipes, computer backgrounds, and beyond. Your dog will surely thank you.
