Dog Aggression? Make it Stop!

Hi guys! Here's how to put a stop to dog aggression. Dog aggression is the most common problem in dogs, and we can't live with it. So if you have an aggressive dog, this post is for you. So before we begin, please pin this to your pinterest so other people can find out how to stop dog aggression.

  1. Don't 'just ignore it'. Ignoring it is not going to do you any good. If your dog bites you or other people/dogs, you have a problem and need to do something about it, regardless to what other people say.
  2. Positive Reinforcement. Positive Reinforcement, not punishment. If you see your dog getting tense and is about to bite, say no biting, in a stern, but not angry voice. Practice the No Biting command before expecting it to work. By showing your dog, for instance, your finger, if they snap their teeth in an attempt to bite, say no biting and hold up a food that they really like, whether that's a bit of kibble or chicken, or even your homemade dog treats! show them your finger again, but not one that has the smell of food. Say no biting, and if they listen, reward them with the treat you had! Keep practicing this!
  3. If all else fails, you can always ask a vet. The vet is there to help you, and he/she can recommend whatever's best, whether that's a dog trainer or something else!

If you subscribe to VetKidz, your beloved dog can write a letter to Santa Paws AND SO MUCH MORE!!! There are Halloween costume templates, and dog treat recipes, computer backgrounds, and beyond. Your dog will surely thank you.                         I really hope this helped! I hope the Positive Reinforcement technique worked, and look out for more Dog Aggression posts and techniques!
